Set requirements for specific metadata fields

Administrators in the media bank can set requirements for which metadata fields users should use when uploading images. As an administrator, you can assign each field the following statuses:

  • Required: Users must add metadata in this field.

  • Recommended: Users are encouraged to add metadata in this field.

  • No requirement: Users can add metadata in this field if they want to.

  • Hidden: Users will not see the metadata field at all.

 

Here's how to assign statuses to metadata fields:

  • Click on your profile picture at the top right corner.

  • Select Organization Settings.

  • Choose Metadata and then Metadata Fields.

  • Click Edit on the row where you want to change the status.
