The verification module in the Mediebank can help you collect, store, and delete consents for the storage and use of images and videos containing people.

• Storage: Images and videos of individuals are considered personal data. All organizations storing personal data must comply with regulations on obtaining, storing, and deleting consent for storing such data.

• Right to Use: As a general rule, images and videos of individuals cannot be published without the consent of the person depicted.

The verification module in the Mediebank has been developed in collaboration with the law firm Bing Hodneland and supports Articles 7, 15, and 17 of the GDPR. In collaboration with Bing Hodneland, we have also created predefined terms and conditions that are available in the Mediebank.
