Organization

An organization represents the main Mediebank workspace. Typically, an organization in the Mediebank represents a company, a department, or a publication. Most mediebank features and functionality is enabled specifically to each organization. These will be made available depending on your Mediebank subscription.

The main identifiers of an organization is:

• Users: All users are belong to a specific organization

• Assets: All assets are tied to a specific organization. Unless the user chooses to, assets are not visible for anyone outside the organization

• Gallery: The main repository of assets available to the user is common for all users within that organization.

• Organization name and logo: The name and logo of the organization is reflected from the gallery and everywhere an asset is shared

Organization-wide instructions and restrictions

Administrators may define organization-wide instructions and restrictions such as:

• User permissions and user roles

• Organization-wide rules for handling metadata

• Default and supported languages
