Advanced search options

Direct field searches

In the News Archive search bar, you can type in custom queries to search in the fields you want. These fields are searchable:

• reference: An identifier or reference used to distinguish individual pages and articles

• publication: Name of publication or publication group

• edition: An identifier for a specific edition of a publication

• section & subSection: The section and subsection the articles belong to

• published_date: Timestamp for when the edition was originally published. Should contain date-time with an offset from UTC, such as '2007-12-03T10:15:30+01:00'

• page_number: The page number for individual pages of an edition

• headline: A brief synopsis of the content of the page or article

• content: Human readable textual content

• author_name: Name of article author

• author_email: Email of article author

• keywords: Keywords to express the subject of the article or page

• type: Page or article

Example query
publication:Aftenposten AND type:page AND published:[2023-10-01 TO 2023-10-30]

This query will return PDF-pages from Aftenposten published between October 1st 2023 and October 30th 2023.
